If you’re looking for a rustic, laid back wedding experience with an emphasis on fresh and local food and drink, Moraine Farm is the perfect venue. It offers the perfect backdrop of fields, pastures, and forests that will leave you with unforgettable memories.
There is no doubt that Moraine Farm is one of my absolute favorite Boston north shore wedding venues. The space has a calming element that is polished, sophisticated, yet down-to-earth.
It is set on 175 acres of land, mostly conservation forest. The lawns are a beautiful space for an outdoor setting. The interior of the stone estate has a lovely space for the bride to get ready, as well as small rooms and a patio for guests to wander in and out.
Moraine Farm’s permanent wedding tent is one of the finest I’ve seen. Also, I know that they’ve upgraded the floors in 2015. It looks amazing. :)

The Estate at Moraine Farm is a spectacular setting for your wedding or special event. This historic property is set on 175 acres, much of which is conservation land and forest, and is situated overlooking beautiful Wenham Lake. It is located at 719 Cabot Street, North Shore, Beverly, MA 01915.

Choose the Perfect Season for Your Wedding
Your date is the most important decision you will make. It’s not just about picking a month or day, but also selecting the perfect season for your wedding!
The Estate at Moraine Farm is available year-round, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, until 11 PM. They cater weddings in in 5-hour blocks, with an option to extend 1 hour for a ceremony.
In the warmer months, from late April to early November, the Estate at Moraine Farm can accommodate outdoor weddings or events. Smaller gatherings can also be held inside the estate house or on the brick patio.
On the other hand, during the off-season months of November to April, they offer the estate house for cocktail parties and seated dinners.
Features of The Estate at Moraine Farm
The historic Moraine Farm in Beverly was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, the same person who designed Central Park in New York and the Emerald Necklace in Boston.
The estate grounds feature several options for your wedding ceremony including the lawn by the tea house, the lower garden, and the brick patio.
Tented Weddings
A permanent tent is installed spring through fall accommodating weddings and events for 50 up to 300 guests.
Brick Patio
This overlooks beautiful Wenham Lake, providing a stunning backdrop for a cocktail hour.
The property has sweeping views of the beautiful Wenham Lake from its curved brick patio. The estates’s inviting exteriors and interiors are sure to make as a charming backdrop for the photos of your Moraine Farm wedding!
The Great Lawn
The Great Lawn is the perfect setting for ceremonies and lawn games. During warm weather, it is the ideal place for tented receptions.
Gardens and Tea House
The Tea House is a charming place to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and take in enchanting views all year long. It makes for a great backdrop for ceremonies and photos. Just beyond the Tea House, Moraine Farm weddings have access to the colorful European-Gardens, one of my favorite places for portraits of the bride and groom.
Estate House
For couples who choose to hold their wedding in the cooler weather, they can opt for an indoor celebration in a gracious stone manor. This place is great for smaller events and ceremonies. You can host up to 100 guests for cocktail hours to a seated dinner good for 80 guests!
Rent Details
The ceremony free, which includes two hours of wedding starts at around $750. This fee includes ceremony chairs and the set up and breakdown of chairs. One downside though is that ceremony rehearsals are not permitted prior to wedding day.
Overtime fee may be charged at $500 per hour if your event exceeds five hours. They have a cut off of 11 PM when events have to end.
Venue Service Offerings
Included with your venue rental is the private and exclusive use of the estate and surrounding lawns and gardens. This consists of s 5-hour rental period. You can also opt to extend one hour for a ceremony to a total of 6 hours.
The venue offers a beautiful Tide Water Tent with bistro lighting, which includes upgrades such as heaters, fans or additional lighting when needed. They also have White Century Pole Tent that accommodates up to 200 guests that includes a dance floor.
Catering Services
Moraine Farm offers in-house catering including servers, as well as an in-house bar.
The catering that the venue provides features a “farm to table” type of cuisine.
Fireside Catering is the proud exclusive caterer to The Estate at Moraine Farm and is committed to providing fresh, locally sourced, sustainable ingredients from local farmers and artisanal purveyors to put together amazing seasonal menus.
The food provided reflects the best flavors of each season, of which are elegantly prepared, and thoughtfully presented. The team at Fireside Catering is committed to customizing the perfect menu for your event. Thus, prices can be adjusted accordingly as courses are added or removed.
The Dining Package includes full onsite staff of servers, bartenders, chefs, event managers, and server attendant planning services by the venue’s Director of Sales and Events.
Other Amenities
You can be sure you are covered in case since they have a Liability Insurance. They also have a reception area as well as ample onsite parking to accommodate guests. They venue is also handicap accessible.
The rustic barn at the estate has been renovated to include modern amenities such as a catering kitchen. Multiple rooms are also available for use during the reception such as a wine cellar antique library. Also available are dressing rooms, and a special bridal suite.
