Clive proposed to Flora on a small Colorada mountain, but hilariously enough, he couldn’t get down on one knee to propose because his skis were on. Flora sent me a photo of the proposal and it’s so indiciative of the two of them. He’s grinning. She’s laughing. All eyes are lit up and warm with smiles. Flora says that they enjoy making each other laugh with their silly, cheesy jokes and antics. They’re big nerdy boardgamers (MY FAVORITE TYPE OF PEOPLE!) and note that their current favorites are Settlers, Dominion, and Blockus. She also modestly says that Clive wins 9/10 times!
Their vision for the wedding was cheerful, relaxed and intimate. They chose to have a light-hearted hor d’oeuvres reception with a small tea ceremony to honor Flora’s parents and of course, live jazz music to create the mood!
